I have used MobileMe from its inception and have never been too impressed. Everytime there is an update, you go for 1 week to 1 month without all the features working. The latest disaster is my account is showing that it is out of storage and so all email messages get returned. This has been going on for 3 days. I just got off with the support network (via a "chat feature") and they informed me they see the problem but don't know how to fix it, but they will get back to me within 2 days to tell me if they can figure it out!!! And herein lies the problem with the MobileMe package- no real support. No phones, and often it takes days to get a response. Totally unacceptable. Stay away from this platform The hardware from Apple is cool and works well. Their software support is horrible and they are so arrogant it is sickening. I will go almost a full week without getting any of my email and they act like its just a little inconvenience. STAY AWAY, its only good on paper.

MobileMe is a service developed by Apple and though it is pretty feature filled, it feels like it is still in the beta stage. Apple has taken note of their slowdowns of server responses of the browser based app, but it works perfectly with Mail and the push features on the iPhone a top notch. This product activated and I had my year immediately.

I use Macs at various locations. MobileMe is the easiest and most dependable way to keep my mail, addressbook, bookmarks, passwords, and iCal calendars synchronized and also have access to files on iDisk.
cheaper at amazon than from Mac (2009-10-16) : 4/5
I don't know why Mac requires this software in order to publish a website (that's my purpose; I don't know what else it is used for), but I paid $99 when I purchased it from Mac and about $30 less when I purchased the next year from Amazon. I think it is ridiculous for Apple to charge more!

My old account expired and I purchased this one to replace it. It's quite adequate for my needs, so I would give an A to the product. Was delivered in incredibly super fast time - I think I got it one or two days after ordering it. So I would rate the service from Amazon as A+
